Why won’t my Xiaomi TV respond after I turned it off?
If you held the power button down, the TV shut down fully, and then it can't be reached over the network. Turn it on with the remote or the button on the TV. Next time, use a short press, which puts it in standby.
Where do I find my Xiaomi TV model number?
Read the label on the back of the TV; the code looks like L55MA-AEU. On an Android TV model, Settings > Additional settings > Device Preferences > About shows the device details.
Does Xiaomi sell TVs in the US?

Do I need Wi-Fi to use my iPhone as a Xiaomi remote?
Yes. Your iPhone and the TV must be on the same home network, and the TV must already be connected to it. Guest networks often stop devices from seeing each other, and a phone app can't help with a TV that has never been online.

About Xiaomi smart TVs
Xiaomi sold Android TV sets in Europe from the Mi TV 4S to the TV A2 in 2022. The TV Q2 in 2022 was its first Google TV set there, and the TV A, A Pro, S and Max lines that followed also run Google TV.
Xiaomi also sells Fire TV models: the TV F and F Pro (on sale from 2025) and the TV FX Mini LED (2026). In the UK, these Fire TV models are what Xiaomi's own store sells. The Mi TV P1 (Android TV) was the last non-Fire Xiaomi TV on the UK store, around 2021 to 2022.
Simple TV Remote works with Xiaomi Google TV and Android TV models. We found no Xiaomi TVs sold in the US.
