Press the power button on the TV itself. Where it sits depends on the model, so check the user manual for your model on Vizio's support site if you can't find it. If the TV still won't turn on, unplug it for at least 5 seconds and try again.
Can I use my phone as a Vizio remote?
Yes. Vizio's own VIZIO mobile app controls power, volume, input and navigation on compatible Vizio TVs: tap Device Name or Select a Device at the top and pick your TV. Simple TV Remote works with Vizio SmartCast and VIZIO OS TVs too. The TV must already be connected to the internet.

Yes, if Power Mode is set to Quick Start and the TV is in standby. On newer menus it's Menu > All Settings > System > Power Mode, and on older ones Menu > System > Power Mode. In Eco Mode the TV drops off Wi-Fi when it's off, so press the power button on the TV.
